Hi there. I was going to contact you about adding this to Snatches of Yuri, but since I see you’re not doing a newspost this week I thought I’d comment about it here instead. If this isn’t appropriate feel free to delete it, but as it’s of high relevance to Yuri fans I thought it might be welcome.
The news is: Amaterasu Translations, a group that localizes visual novel PC games into English, are running a poll to decide what they should do next. One of the candidate games is Katahane, a 2006 fantasy/adventure game with the primary romance being Yuri – between Angela, an aspiring actress, and Belle, a one-winged “doll” in one of the two timelines, and Queen Christina and the mysterious Eva in the other.
The game, aside from Yuri romance, also features the daily-life drama of a female playwrite, and a fairytale plot with political intrigue, illustrated by rather lovely art. Furthermore, the group running the poll has done excellent work on several other games, and their translator is ridiculously fast as well. Note that the translation is in the form of a patch, so it still requires you to buy the game – no piracy here :)
Voting takes place at http://amaterasu.is.moelicious.be/poll/ and has now started; it will end tomorrow evening.
