Thank you to everyone who came to the 2020 Online Yuri Panel! We had a great conversation yesterday. I’ve embedded the unedited video here. Youtube has made auto-captioning available, but we have hand more accurate subtitles coming.

Congratulations on the well-realized panel, Erica!
P.S I don’t know which city you live in and frankly, this is not my business, but I heard about the big riots in the USA, so I hope that you did not suffer.
I am physically fine thank you. In my state the protests have been largely peaceful. Looting and damage has mostly been done by opportunists and fascists vandalizing, not the protesters. Emotionally I am torn between running around screaming “I told you so!” to anyone who had a Trump sign during the election and weeping for the people this administration are targeting.
This is good to hear. In 2013-2014, I lived in Ukraine, so these things always make me anxious. I apologize if I distracted you with talking about politics.
No, that’s perfectly fine. Politics is not a topic that is outside the scope here. “Politics” comes from “polis” which is Greek for “people.” Our lives, our existence is political. Black Lives Matter, Queer and Trans Lives Matter. I’m not going to pretend that these are topics that don’t affect all of us.
Art is Resistance
FYI, Eclair Rouge is coming our way – it has a release date of September 22nd, per Yen’s website. It’s up for pre-order on some retailers.
Thank you! Once they did Blanche, I assumed we’d get the others. ^_^
