Yuricon News: Site Update

A *lot* of new things on Yuricon!

We’ve added a few new events to the Yuricon Events page. Check it out regularly for yuri-related events around the world!

A few new items on the Yuricon Shop, and old items on sale – look for summer combo specials on 100% from ALC Publishing, and “I Love Yuri” Messenger Bags are on sale, for almost a third off! We’ve added a few
new yuri manga from Amazon and Amazon Japan, including these brand new
items:

– Moonlight Flowers (reviewed on Okazu just this week, in fact.)

– Strawberry Panic Manga, Volume 1

New items are added all the time and Yuri Hime 6 is coming soon!

New names on “The List” of anime and manga lesbians, lesbian wannabees and oughtabes. Still more names to be added, so more updates on this soon.

And don’t forget, there is ONE WEEK left in the 2006 Yuricon AMV Contest. Get those yuri and shoujoai themed AMVs in before June 15 in order to be eligible for great prizes!

My brain is offline tonight.

If you are interested in reading something Marimite-flavored, feel free to wander over to my website “Worldshaking” Fanfic where I’ve uploaded a new Maria-sama ga Miteru fanfiction for this month. The new story is suitable for readers of legal majority in their home country/state/region/town only, but there are plenty of stories there for all ages.

Event: Yuricon at Sakuracon!

March 21st, 2006

Yuricon is on the road again! This week we’ll be visiting Seattle, Washington to attend Sakuracon.

Look for Yuricon and ALC Publishing at Table 147 in the marketplace, near the exit. You’ll be able to get yuri publications from ALC at *massive* discounts. We’re doing a special $5/$10 sale for Seattle.

And we’ll be holding Sakuracon’s first-ever yuri panel. Join us on Saturday, March 25 at 9PM in Panel Room 1 (Room 603 on the 6th floor).

I will be joined by several Yuricon friends and staffer for the weekend, so make sure you say hi to myself, the wife, staffers Donna and Serge and friends Bruce, Jen, Hillary and who knows who else? :-)
