Online Live Yuri Panel – Question Solicit and Introduction

There are a lot of folks who would like to attend my Yuri Panels and Lectures, but for one reason or another, don’t have the chance to. Therefore, as a new feature for Yuricon, we’re starting a series of online panels. Watch the video below to get the basic idea:

So, get those questions in and as soon as we can, I’ll announce the first time and place for a live online Yuri panel. (I’m very much hoping it will be this month, and I’ll do my very best to pick a time where the most times zone can tune in!)

New Essays on the Yuricon Essays Page

I’ve been remiss and am finally digging in and clearing a back log of items to post to the Yuricon site. First up – new Essays for the Yuri Essays Page:

Let me also take this opportunity to remind you all that the What Yuri Means To Me Project is always open to anyone who wants to share their personal story of discovering and enjoying Yuri! This project is our “oral history” (only we’re capturing it in writing right from the start) so please feel free to write your story up and send it to us.  We look forward to hearing from you!

The Yuricon 2011 Yuri AMV Contest is ON!

The last few years have been good for Yuri anime. There are a lot of series that came out (sadly, some went away just as quickly.) And to celebrate this great bounty of Yuri, we here at Yuricon and our video channel Yuristudios are having an AMV Contest!

The rules are different this year, and there’s some special Judges Challenges, so please read the rules carefully and follow them exactly. 2011 Yuri AMV Contest Guidelines.
