Volume 2 of Endo Yasuko Stalks The Night
Is what I think is “all right.”
Vampires they may be
None of them look like a baby
Go ahead and say “Okay, I’ll bite.”
Volume 2 resolves all the wrong bits of the story, opens up gigantic new holes that will never be resolved and is ridiculous in every possible way.
You should totally read it. ^_^
Ratings:
Art – 7
Story – Even more absurd 8
Characters – 9
Service – 5 with a bump for the principal
Yuri – 2, maybe, but you can make it work if you want.
Overall – Still entertaining, trashy fun 8
Ah! I finally managed to get this last night, and finished reading it this morning over some coffee. I loved it! It took some endearingly ridiculous (as opposed to ridiculously endearing) turns, like you say.
I may be wrong, but I was really sensing a Rumiko Takahashi influence in this volume – I first noticed it in the way the two main characters leapt out of the bath together, and then kept getting a subtle idea of it in the rest of the book because of that.
I was just really charmed by this goofy thing.
I understand what you mean, but I chalk it up to shounen hijinks style.
I hope you won’t mind if I adjust things a little. It scans just a bit better like so:

I’ll keep an eye out for it at my local comic shop!
It’s quite funny that this manga does not have the “canonical” yuri tag on MAL, but auto recommendations immediately gave me a whole set of the most actual yuri manga. The program knows something in yuri :D.
