Art by Chiriko.Our Comic Yuri Hime, August 2026 (コミック百合姫2026年8月号) issue begins with a study in blue by Chitriko, as a young woman with pink hair, has just had her hair trimmed by a woman with dark hair. Both wear matching dresses of the same blue color.

As Lorelei teeters on the edge of greatness, Momoka and Hajime plumb the depths of how and why they started a band in Takeshima Eku’s “Sasayakuyouni Koi wo Utau.”

In “Tayutau Koi no Chirigiwa ni” by Yuama, Suzu and Emma go out on a date. Suzuran, till not believing that Emma’s actions are sincere is awkward throughout. I haven’t mentioned this series too often, because it it not grabbing me, personally.

Ikuta Hana’s “Hone ni negai o,Hoshi ni noroi o” everything is confusing. as Aoi clearly has feelings for Akane, but Akane and Mashiro are deeply bound.

Ren also decided to try out some sex work in “Kimi no Sei Dakara, Sekinin Totte yo ne” by Touma.

In “Watashi no Oshi ha Akuyaku Reijou.,” by inori and Aonishimo, Claire confronts Dole, and learns she did not know what what going on at all, really. Rei staggers around, flailing for a solution, an old friend arrives in Bauer and maybe, at last, the tide is turning.

No kidding, the entire chapter of Shibori Kasuko’s “Genjitsu sekai demo shiawase ni shite kudasai ne?” reverse isekai polyamory story is an…amusement park date. I feel like this series could try a little harder, honestly. What’s the point of the game world and magic if they are just going to do everyday typical things? ^_^;

Kashikaze’s “Kimi ga hoeru tame no uta o” hit an inflexion point, as Yuu *finally* unbends and joins her voice to Haru, finishing up with an obvious confession. Phew. Now they can head in to the second round of the contest together.

Shimura Takako a sweet little comic about a girl who loves to draw and a classmate who encourages her, meeting again as adults when the one is a creatively blocked manga artists and the other…. in “Fuyu no Owari no, Haru wo Matsu.”

Tensions are running high in “Chou Fuka Uchuu Yori Ai o Komete” as a girl from Ten’s past step ups her campaign of harassment/revenge.

Kodama Naoko returns with a story about rivals who need each other in the publishing world in “Watashi-tachi no Mikan Kou”.

And the usual columns and ads for upcoming anime and the like, for a very solid volume of the only monthly Yuri manga magazine!
