24 years ago today I started posting here on Okazu. I had a vague idea of tracking things that seemed interesting to Yuri fans, and writing about the evolution of the first 3-Day Yuri event, that would become Yuricon 2003. And here we are, 24 years later, with more Yuri news than ever and a staff of 8 people trying to keep up. ^_^
If you ask us what we’d like at Okazu for our birthday, the answer is…you! If you love Okazu for the reviews or the news, or just keeping you on top of Yuri, Baihe and GL from around the world, I hope you will support our work. If you chose to support us on Patreon, and go with the annual pre-paid support; we’ll get sustainable amounts that go to our writers as better wages and you get a month free! On Patreon, you can also get a gift subscription for a friend who loves Yuri.
Please become one of our Patreon Patrons and Ko-fi Supporters. We only need about a dozen $10/month sustaining members to hit our annual goal.
This year, we’re doing something a little different. Annual pre-paid patrons at $10/month or more get an exclusive Okazu Supporter/Patron t-shirt. This features our mascots on the front breast and Okazu-syle ratings on the back. For annual pre-paid patrons of $20/month or more, you can choose your own ratings!

These t-shirts are soft weave and come in fitted (women’s) and unfitted (unisex) styles. They come in 9 colors each in different palettes, and sizes S to 3x, although some colors and sizes combos may not be available. I sadly have absolutely no control over that.
All patrons and supporters will be able to purchase one of these shirts for themselves, as well. ^_^ I hope that this will bring in the dozen or so new supporters/patrons we need to make our year goal this year. If we do, I promise to stop can-shaking until the new year. ^_^
Special thanks to all our staff:
Christian LeBlanc
Frank Hecker
Luce
Matt Marcus
Ashley Payne
Sasori
Eleanor Walker
and of course, my beloved wife, the Yuricon and Okazu First Lady.
We thank all our patrons, new and old, and look forward to doing even more for our 25th year!

Here’s to many, many more!
